Scale
Dry Ingredients
- ½ cup vanilla or chocolate protein powder (about 2 scoops)
- ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Wet Ingredients
- 3 very ripe bananas
- ½ cup smooth peanut butter or almond butter
Optional Add-ins
- Sprinkle of mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the brownie bites.
- Mash Bananas: In a medium bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth, leaving a few small lumps for texture.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Stir the peanut butter into the mashed bananas until fully combined and creamy.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Add the protein powder and cocoa powder to the banana mixture. Mix thoroughly until the batter is smooth and even in color.
- Prepare Muffin Tin: Place 8 silicone baking cups into a muffin tin to prevent sticking and make removal easy.
- Fill Baking Cups: Evenly divide the batter among the silicone cups, filling each one.
- Add Toppings: Sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top of each brownie bite for added texture and chocolate bursts (optional).
- Bake: Bake the brownie bites in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the tops are set and look firm.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the brownie bites to cool completely in the baking cups before removing. They will firm up as they cool, making them easier to handle.
Notes

- Silicone baking cups make removal easier and reduce the need for greasing.
- You can substitute peanut butter with almond butter or other nut butters as preferred.
- Mini chocolate chips are optional but add a pleasing texture and extra chocolate flavor.
- Store cooled brownie bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- These brownies are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free as written.
