Description

This Oreo Protein Cookie Dough is a delicious and healthy treat that combines creamy cottage cheese, almond flour, and cookies & cream protein powder for a rich, satisfying snack. With a hint of vanilla and a touch of maple syrup for sweetness, it’s a perfect protein-packed dessert or snack that’s quick to prepare and great for those craving cookie dough without the guilt.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 1 1/2 scoops Cookies & Cream protein powder
  • 34 thin Oreo cookies (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Blend wet ingredients: In a blender or food processor, combine the cottage cheese, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: Transfer the blended mixture to a medium bowl. Add the almond flour and protein powder, then mix thoroughly until the mixture reaches your desired cookie dough consistency.
  3. Fold in Oreos: Gently fold in the crushed Oreo cookies pieces to incorporate them evenly without breaking them down too much.
  4. Serve and enjoy: Your Oreo Protein Cookie Dough is now ready to be enjoyed as a delicious, protein-packed snack or dessert. You can eat it immediately or chill it slightly for a firmer texture.

Notes

  • You can substitute the almond flour with oat flour or coconut flour if desired, but this may slightly alter the texture.
  • Adjust the amount of maple syrup according to your preferred sweetness level.
  • For a vegan version, substitute cottage cheese with a plant-based yogurt or tofu, and use a vegan protein powder.
  • Use thin Oreo cookies for a better proportion of cookie to dough; regular Oreos can also be used but will change the texture slightly.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
