Cauliflower Au Gratin:
- 3 cups Cauliflower Florets (lightly steamed)
Broccoli Au Gratin:
- 2 cups Broccoli Florets (lightly steamed)
Sausage:
- 12 ounce Sliced Smoked Sausage
Cheese Sauce:
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Onion (diced)
- 2 tsp Minced Garlic
- 2 ounces Cream Cheese (softened)
- 2/3 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 1/2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Sear the sausage: In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the sliced sausage. Remove and set aside.
- Prepare the cheese sauce: In a pot over medium heat, melt butter. Saute onions until softened, then add garlic. Stir in cream cheese until melted. Pour in heavy whipping cream and whisk until well combined. Simmer until thickened.
- Add cheese and season: Stir in shredded cheese, season with salt and pepper.
- Combine ingredients: In a mixing bowl, mix cauliflower, broccoli, and sausage. Pour cheese sauce over and stir to combine.
- Bake: Spread the mixture in a 9×9 baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
