Ingredients
Scale
Chicken & Seasoning
- 2 large chicken breasts, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cheese & Wraps
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
Sauce & Garnish
- 1/2 cup creamy garlic sauce (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: In a large bowl, toss the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well-coated, ensuring every piece is evenly seasoned for maximum flavor.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the seasoned chicken for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through. Then, remove the skillet from the heat.
- Assemble the Wraps: Lay out the flour tortillas on a clean surface and spread a generous layer of creamy garlic sauce onto each. Evenly distribute the cooked chicken on top of the sauce, then sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the chicken.
- Cook the Wraps: Fold the tortillas over the filling to form wraps. Return them to the skillet and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the tortillas are golden brown and crispy and the cheese inside has melted.
- Serve: Slice the wraps in half for easier eating. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm to enjoy the melty, flavorful filling and crispy exterior.
Notes
- For variation, substitute the chicken with grilled shrimp, turkey, or plant-based proteins such as crispy tofu.
- Swap flour tortillas for whole wheat, low-carb, or spinach tortilla alternatives to make the wraps healthier.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
- To reheat, use a skillet or air fryer to restore the wraps’ crispy texture rather than a microwave.
