Crockpot Big Mac Dip Recipe

  • Author: Olivia
  • Total Time: 2 hours 40 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This Crockpot Big Mac Dip is a creamy, cheesy, and savory appetizer inspired by the classic Big Mac burger flavors. Combining ground beef, cheddar and Velveeta cheeses, tangy pickles, and classic condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayo, this warm dip is perfect for parties, game days, or casual snacking. Slow-cooked to meld the rich flavors and served directly from the crockpot, it pairs wonderfully with chips, slider buns, or pickle slices.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat

  • 1 lb ground beef

Cheese

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Velveeta cheese, cubed

Condiments & Seasonings

  • 1/4 cup diced dill pickles
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle juice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until fully browned. Drain any excess grease from the meat to keep the dip balanced and rich.
  2. Combine ingredients in crockpot: Transfer the cooked beef to the crockpot. Add shredded cheddar cheese, cubed Velveeta cheese, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, and pickle juice. Stir thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.
  3. Cook on low heat: Set the crockpot to LOW and cook the mixture for 2 to 3 hours. Stir occasionally during cooking to help the cheeses melt smoothly and the flavors meld together.
  4. Serve warm: Once the dip is melted, creamy, and well combined, switch the crockpot setting to WARM. Serve the dip directly from the crockpot, keeping it warm throughout your gathering.
  5. Optional garnishes: For extra texture and flavor, garnish the dip with sesame seeds, shredded lettuce, or additional pickles just before serving.

Notes

  • Serve the dip with tortilla chips, slider buns, or pickle slices for dipping.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time—store it in the refrigerator overnight, then reheat it in the crockpot before serving.
  • Customize the dip by adding cooked bacon, diced jalapeños, or chopped onions to add extra flavor and texture.
