For the Stir Fry:
- 2 tbsp olive oil, divided
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed and chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tsp chili garlic sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Sauté Green Beans: In a large skillet, heat one tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add green beans, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 6 minutes until slightly charred and tender.
- Sauté Onion and Garlic: Drizzle the remaining olive oil in the skillet, add chopped onion, sauté until translucent, then add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Cook Ground Turkey: Add ground turkey to the skillet, brown until cooked through.
- Prepare Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, honey, chili garlic sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and seasonings.
- Combine Ingredients: Add green beans back to the skillet with cooked turkey, pour in the sauce, mix well, and simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Serve: Serve over hot rice and enjoy!
