Description
Air Fryer Apple Pie Bombs are a delightful and easy-to-make treat featuring flaky biscuit dough filled with sweet apple pie filling. They are air-fried to golden perfection, then coated in melted butter and cinnamon sugar for a warm, crispy, and flavorful dessert perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

							Scale

			Dough
- 2 cans Pillsbury Country biscuits (10 pieces per can) or 1 can of Grands biscuits

Filling
- 1 cup roughly chopped apple pie filling

Topping
- ½ cup melted butter
 - ¾ cup granulated sugar
 - 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Open the biscuit cans and roll each biscuit into a 4-inch circle with a rolling pin. If using Grands biscuits, split each biscuit into two layers to make thinner dough circles.
 - Assemble the Bombs: Place 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling in the center of each dough circle. Pull the edges over the filling and pinch to seal completely. Roll gently into a ball to create the apple pie bombs. Place them in the air fryer basket with about 1 inch of space between each bomb to allow for even cooking. Cook in batches if necessary.
 - Bake: Close the air fryer and set the temperature to 380°F (193°C). Bake the bombs until they are golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 6 minutes.
 - Prepare the Topping: While the first batch is baking, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together in a medium bowl to create the cinnamon sugar coating.
 - Continue Baking: Transfer the baked apple pie bombs to a cooling rack to cool slightly. Repeat the baking process with the remaining bombs until all are cooked.
 - Finish with Butter and Cinnamon Sugar: Dip each warm apple pie bomb in the melted butter to coat thoroughly. Then roll the butter-coated bombs in the cinnamon sugar mixture to cover them completely. Place them back on the cooling rack to set slightly and cool before serving.

Notes
- Use fresh or canned apple pie filling for convenience and flavor.
 - Ensure the dough edges are sealed well to prevent the filling from leaking during air frying.
 - Space bombs properly in the air fryer basket to allow hot air circulation for even cooking.
 - Serve warm for the best taste and texture.
 - Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness.
